BAPTISM The First Sacrament that incorporates us into the Church.
Baptism are usually held every 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 11:00 am and 11:30 am. We accept 2 families per slot.
Preparation seminars are led by volunteer Catechists from Guardian Angels Parish and held every 3rd Sunday of each Month at 4pm.

If you belong to a different Parish, a letter from your Parish of residence granting us permission to baptise your child at Guardian Angels Parish is also required.
Preparation Seminar attendance (only for parents who have not had an older child baptised previously)
RCIA Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.
Volunteer Catechists from Guardian Angels Parish educate and initiate adults and children above 7 years of age in the process of becoming a Catholic. Cathecumens undergo preparation and the Rite of Initiation before Baptism into the Catholic Church. RCIA Baptisms are held every Easter. Kindly contact the Parish Office for more details. CONFESSION Every Saturday 5:30pm at the church Confessional
SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMME FOR CHILDREN Covers The Sacrament of Confirmation, the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist and the Sacrament of Penance following the Standards set by the Archdiocese of Brisbane led by Evangelization Brisbane.

Baptismal Certificate - If your child was baptised at a Parish Church other than Guardian Angels Wynnum, you need to provide a photocopy of their baptismal certificate.
Children should be in Year 3 or above at time of their enrolment in the Parish Sacramental Programme.
Enrolment in the Parish Sacramental Programme requires parents to fully commit to the faith development of the child/children they enrol. Faith development includes all of the following: ~ Attendance and participation the sessions and activities ~ Attendance at Sunday Mass, and ~ Learning and memorizing the basic prayers at home before lessons begin: Sign of the Cross; The Lord’s Prayer (Our Father ) ; Hail Mary and Glory Be
Lessons are compulsory. 100% attendance is required by both parent and child/children enrolled in the programme. A parent MUST accompany the child to the lessons and remain in the class. This is a requirement under child safety guidelines.
A small donation of $40 to cover expenses and supply of materials is greatly appreciated.
WEDDINGS - Sacrament of Marriage
Prospective couples are booked after the interview with the Parish Priest. An Initial deposit of $ 100 for the use of the church is made during the booking
Note that we strictly do not allow confetti throwing during and after the wedding.
